A farewell to a friend..

We have been together for about a year, in good times and the bad, in sickness, injury and in health, under heavy rains, the scorching sun and the mystical moon. From baby steps to powerful strides, from broken dreams to breaking limits, you were always there right alongside me. As time passed by corrosion was inevitable, constant pounding slowly scathed her inside and out.

We have traveled further than I could have imagined, further than the eye can see and unknowingly exceeded our limits. You have supported, protected, pampered and guided me along the road, no matter how far and difficult it is. As the days passed I felt your pain, you can no longer keep up with me.

I am deeply ravaged and it staggers me.. but I have to let go. You may not be in the picture in my future, but you will be frame that will be its foundation.
