A new dawn begins

As my "Ashe"(Nike Relentless) has deteriorated and has reached a mileage between 1000-1500km (based on estimates), I had to look for a new pair. After hours of researching online, I fell in love with a shoe. I was quite devasted because with all the effort, searching far and wide the metro, there was not a single pair of my size.

I had to rely on my second choice, the Gel-Kayano 18. Its a stability(structured cushioning) shoe which is great for over-pronators (neutral to low-arched) runners. Its quite light, weighs at 11.6 oz. Give a comfortable fit around the foot, not too tight but not too loose, just right.

I tested her for about a 16k run the day and I loved the feel and the ride. I'm more comfortable with her compared to my old Ashe. Which was by the way a neutral type of shoe. I can easily have an easy run, with no problems with my foot striking, unlike her predecessor which I would always control how my feet would land.

Here are some pictures of my new girl: Link
