Baguio 21k
I have been running for about 6 months and I haven't been able to run in my home town. This was my first run in Baguio City, the city of pines and the summer capital. I have been a lone wolf in all of my runs, this is the first run where I am with a group. The first half of the route was quite easy, a gradual increase and decrease of elevation. Moog was the starting point of the difficult part, Happy hollow isn't really a happy route, the downhill was quite difficult since the road is currently under deconstruction, where the road had large holes and a foot would fit into it. In this section of the route there was a spot where a magnificent view of the mountains and the forests. It was so beautiful, I actually forgot I was in a race and the fatigue faded for quite a while.

There were two runners who were in costume, a clown and a bird man. They one the best costume award of the race. Kenyans dominated the race, the champion finished the race in 1 hour and 13 mins, that is roughly about a pace of 3.5. Uphill races wont slow these guys down, their pace seems to be constant no matter how difficult the terrain is.
